Sneak Peak at the 2007 Tracks

I don’t normally share out the track structure before it is released publically via the TechEd website but what the heck!  Below are the tracks by which all of the content (sessions, labs, chalk-talks) will be organized.  This is shaping up to be an incredible year in terms of content with an unbelievable amount of new topics to cover in-depth.  This will be the most important year in TechEd’s history with the launch of Office 2007, Windows Vista, Exchange Server 2007, various Management Products (MOM 2007, System Center Essentials, Configuration Manager 2007, etc) Windows Server Code-named “Longhorn”, “Orcas” as well as a sneak peak at the next version of SQL Server. Determining the allocations of sessions between these technologies is by far the most difficult part of my job.

So here they are….the ’07 track structure:

  • Architecture
  • Business Applications (Dynamics products)
  • Business Intelligence
  • Connected Systems (Biztalk, WCF, etc)
  • Database Development and Administration
  • Management and Operations
  • Windows Server Infrastructure
  • Developer Tools and Technologies
  • Web Development and Infrastructure
  • Mobility
  • Office System
  • Security
  • Unified Communications (NEW!)
  • Windows Client
  • Microsoft IT
  • Identity and Access (NEW!)
